Fishing
We
have spent the last 20 years exploring this area and know where the hot spots are. These
places are remote so our clients are almost the only people who get to fish them and we
only take a few parties each year so the fishing is as good now as it ever was. We also
only keep enough for a few meals, the rest are all released. Your party will be the only
one on the lake or river at that time and I only take two or three per year to the area.
Fly Fishing on the Coal
Fly in to our Wolf Dens camp and spend four days fishing this incredible river. Arctic
greyling, dolly varden trout and northern pike provide incredible action. Each day you will
be taken to a new area or hot spot. Best dates are July and August.
Hyland Lake
This Lake nestled in the Selwyn
Mountains has lake trout, dolly varden and arctic greyling to test your skill. Moose,
caribou, mt. Goats and bear are often spotted from the lake. Best dates are June, July and
August.
Pike Lake.
Pretty lake, photogenic cabin, easy
access and great fishing make this one a winner. This lake is our trapline home and so is
well set up. You can fly in or drive and walk making it affordable for families. Pike lake
,where the cabins are is full of huge northern pike, a short hike will put you on octopus
lake which is also full of pike and then another short hike to the river where you can
catch greyling and dolly varden. A truly enjoyable spot. Best times are May and June but
July and August are also good.

that. This includes a guide, use of cabins and a boat. You
